The Casa Healing Entities

Beings of Light and Love

John of God, or Medium Joao, channels healing Entities who are devoted to healing those who come seeking their assistance. In addition to the Entities that Medium Joao channels, there are a large additional number who assist in the healing in other ways. Many of the Entities connected to the Casa are saints.

​​​​​​St. Ignatius Loyola is the Entity for whom the Casa is named. Also frequently incorporating through John of God are St. Francis of Assisi, King Solomon, St. Francis Xavier, Dr. Augusto de Almeida, Dr. Jose Valdivino, and Dr. Oswaldo Cruz.

The Casa Entities each have different specialties. They support and supplement our energy so that healing of ailments, problems and illnesses of varying types can occur.

​​The Entities, who are highly evolved Beings of Light and Love, are able to understand the root causes of our issues and how to heal them in accordance with our highest good.

​​The Entities of Light and Love work with each person on all levels that are necessary – physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. Healing occurs based on what a person asks for from the Entitities, as well as on the spiritual readiness of the soul.

The Entities

St. Ignatius of Loyola

St. Ignatius of Loyola or Dom Inácio de Loyola (1491- July 31, 1556) is the principle Entity after whom the Casa is named.

Dom Inacio was a Spanish knight from a Basque noble family. After living a life of entitlement he served as a military leader. While recuperating from wounds received in war Ignatius had a spiritual experience that led him to turn his life around. He founded the Society of Jesus, an international religious community of men known as the Jesuits today.​​​​

Luis Goncalves de Camara, one of his closest associates, wrote, “He (Ignatius) was always rather inclined toward love; moreover, he seemed all love, and because of that he was universally loved by all. There was no one in the Society who did not have great love for him and did not consider himself much loved by him.”​​

​​There is a statue of the Madonna and Child Jesus next to where Medium Joao sits at the Casa which is from the church where St. Ignatius laid down his sword and surrendered his life to God.

He is a high level spirit who can only incorporate into Medium Joao for a few minutes at a time. ​

Dr. Oswaldo Cruz  - Healing Entity Working Through John of God
Dr. Oswaldo Cruz

Dr. Oswaldo Cruz (1872 – 1917) was a Brazilian physician who entered medical school at the age of fifteen, graduating at age twenty. ​​He went on to study at the Pasteur Institute in Paris.

​He became Director General for Public Health and is considered a national hero. ​​He is credited with ending the bubonic plague and yellow fever epidemics in Brazil.

He founded the Oswaldo Cruz Institute, an extremely important scientific and health institution, and occupied the fifth chair of the Brazilian Academy of Letters from 1912 to 1917. ​​ At forty-four years of age, he died of kidney failure.

​​He has beautiful eyes which seemingly pour out unconditional love to all – a very powerful and moving experience.

There is a photograph in the surgery room of the Casa where one can see the Entity so fully incorporated that João’s physical body is almost completely replaced by Dr. José Valdivino.

​​Very little is known about this Entity who, when asked, replied simply that he was a protector of families. He possesses energy that is especially powerful for curing paraplegics. With a touch of his hand and a command for them to walk, or move the afflicted limb, many miraculous healings have been recorded.

During his healings he is extremely gentle, compassionate and loving.

Dr Augusto de Almeida died in 1908. He is one of the most frequent Entities at the Casa de Dom Inácio. He was a Brazilian military officer and a doctor in other incarnations. ​He is known for his strong personality and his somewhat authoritarian manner. He is also known to be extremely kind and compassionate and is deeply loved by all.
Saint Rita of Cascia

Saint Rita of Cascia, (Born Margherita Lotti 1381 – May 22, 1457), was an Italian Augustinian nun, widow and saint venerated in the Roman Catholic Church. Rita was married at age twelve to a nobleman. Her parents arranged the marriage despite her repeated requests to enter a convent. She is remembered for her Christian values as a model wife and mother who made efforts to convert her husband from his abusive behavior. Upon the murder of her husband by another feuding family, she sought to dissuade her sons from revenge before their calamitous death.

She subsequently joined an Augustinian community of religious women. St. Rita is venerated due to various miracles attributed to her intercession. She has the reputation, along with St. Jude, as a saint of impossible cases.

​​One day when she was about sixty years of age, she was meditating before an image of Christ crucified. Suddenly a small wound appeared on her forehead, as though a thorn from the crown that encircled Christ’s head had penetrated her own flesh. For the next fifteen years she bore this external sign of stigmatization and union with the Lord.

She appeared to Medium Joao when he was a teen-ager where she appeared as a “glowing woman”. She guided him to a nearby Spiritist Center where he experienced his first mediumistic incorporation, and began his healing work.​​

He is known for living a life of poverty and love after rejecting the riches of the world offered by his family and class.

In 1224, he received the stigmata, making him the first recorded person to bear the wounds of Christ’s Passion. He spent much time in lonely places, asking God for enlightenment. Many of the stories that surround the life of St. Francis deal with his love for animals​.

Jose Pinteado

Jose Pincheado is thought to have been a doctor in Brazil in the nineteenth century. He is known as a very affectionate, healing spirit. He often engages people in long conversations with no apparent awareness of the long line of people waiting to go before him!

Francis studied at the Collège Sainte-Barbe in Paris and afterwards taught Aristotelian philosophy at Beauvais college. There he met Ignatius of Loyola.

He was one of the seven men who founded the society of Jesus (now the Jesuit Order) with Dom Inacio. He traveled widely in the East, spreading the word of God.

He ministered to people who suffered spiritual and physical hardships.Francis posed the scriptural question, “What will it profit a man to gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?”

King Solomon  - Healing Entity Working Through John of God
King Solomon

King Solomon was, according to the Book of Kings, the Book of Chronicles, Hidden Words and the Qur’an a king of Israel and the son of King David. The conventional dates of Solomon’s reign are circa 970 to 931 BC.

According to the Talmud, Solomon is one of the forty-eight prophets. In the Qur’an, he is considered a major prophet, known as Sulayman, son of David. In the Baha’i Faith, Solomon is known as one of the lesser prophets.

The Hebrew Bible portrays him as great in wisdom, wealth, and power. In later years, Solomon also came to be known as a magician and an exorcist, with numerous amulets and medallion seals dating from the Hellenistic period invoking his name. According to Jewish tradition, King Solomon wrote three books of the Bible: Book of Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and Song of Songs.
He guards and protects the Sacred Waterfall at the Casa.​​
